The more time I spend analyzing those cases, the more excited I am about the opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In that capacity, I&#8217;m going to London next week to attend the April 18-19 European Edition of the IP Dealmakers Forum at the Royal Lancaster Hotel (<a href=\"https:\/\/dealmakersforums.com\/event\/ipeurope\/\">conference webpage<\/a>). It&#8217;s a combined LF (general litigation funding) and business-of-IP (also including litigation finance) event. There is a full conference program, and 1:1 meetings take place all the time to discuss litigation finance deals, IP deals and similar transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The U.S. version of that conference \u2014 created by Wendy Chou, whom many of you have probably heard of \u2014 has been a &#8220;go-to event&#8221; for some time, but there is also a lot of potential in Europe, and London is the best European venue for this topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>If you are in the IP business or in the litigation finance business, but haven&#8217;t booked your participation yet, think about attending (<a href=\"https:\/\/dealmakersforums.com\/event\/ipeurope\/\">event webpage<\/a>).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On short notice, I&#8217;ve also been invited to join one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/dealmakersforums.com\/event\/ipeurope\/#agenda\">conference<\/a> panels. Next Friday there&#8217;ll be a discussion of &#8220;SEP policies and decisions from around the world \u2014 and what it means for dealmaking.&#8221; The panel will be moderated by UCL professor and retired UK appellate judge Sir Robin Jacob.
