This is not the case in which ZTE obtained a 5G patent injunction against Samsung last week (May 6, 2026 ip fray article). But Samsung is presumably seeking a guarantee of that (or an even greater) amount from ZTE now. It needs the appeals court’s help as the Munich I Regional Court determined that €7.5M should be sufficient.
