Rajiv Kumar Choudhary is an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India and a qualified Intellectual Property attorney and patent agent. He began his career in the United States, focused on standard-related patent prosecution and has managed patent portfolios across the U.S., Europe, China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, and India. He has industry experience in semiconductors, telecommunications, and electronics design automation.
He specializes in Standard Essential Patents (SEPs), FRAND licensing, patent portfolio management, patent litigation, and related antitrust/competition law. He has advised Indian handset manufacturers and trade associations on licensing matters and is the author of “Patent Law and Practice” (Bharat Law House, New Delhi).
