Infineon continues winning streak against Innoscience in Germany

Context: Gallium nitride (GaN) technology manufacturers Innoscience and Infineon have been engaged in litigation over the infringement of their patents since March 2024. Their dispute now spans the U.S., Germany, and China. Infineon has had particular success in Germany – its home ground – where the Munich I Regional Court granted Infineon one ex parte preliminary injunction in June 2024 (June 16, 2024 ip fray article), another in August 2025 (August 4, 2025 ip fray article), and then issued two parallel rulings prohibiting Innoscience from manufacturing, selling, and marketing additional patent-infringing products in Germany last month (June 19, 2026 ip fray article).
