BASF spin-off also suing Apple over face ID patent infringement in UPC, ITC
The United States International Trade Commission has instituted an investigation into BASF subsidiary TrinamiX’s infringement complaint against Apple over six of its facial recognition-related patents, a month after the plaintiff also sued Apple in both the UPC and the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.
