Halozyme wins Munich PI against Merck’s Keytruda SC (subcutaneous immunotherapy); meanwhile, litigators await appointment of Judge Werner’s successor

Halozyme is being represented by Quinn Emanuel. Seven years ago, Mr. Snyder was in-house litigation counsel at Qualcomm (for many years before joining Halozyme in early 2022) and won a permanent injunction against Apple. That decision was made by the 7th Civil Chamber as well, but under Presiding Judge Dr. Matthias Zigann, who is now a full-time UPC judge. Qualcomm’s outside counsel was Quinn Emanuel as well.

Merck is being defended by Hogan Lovells.
