ITC grants Shoals import ban against Voltage over solar patent infringement, decision to be reviewed by White House

Context: Shoals Technologies Group, a Tennessee-based manufacturer of electrical balance-of-system (EBOS) solutions for the solar industry, filed a complaint with the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) in January 2025 alleging that Voltage LLC and Ningbo Voltage Smart Production Co. imported photovoltaic trunk bus cable assemblies that infringed two U.S. patents. The complaint (which we have included below the box) followed an earlier ITC victory involving different patents covering related photovoltaic connector technology.
