Context: Netlist was granted U.S. Patent No. 12,646,537 (“Memory Package Having Stacked Array Dies and Reduced Driver Load”) earlier this week, and immediately filed a complaint in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, accusing Samsung Electronics of infringing it. Simultaneously, Micron Technology—another regular target of Netlist’s enforcement campaigns—filed a complaint for declaratory judgment (DJ) of noninfringement of the ‘537 patent in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware (June 2, 2026 ip fray article).
