Context: Touchstream Technologies1 has launched a number of patent infringement suits in United States district courts over the years targeting large tech companies such as Google, which it sued in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas in June 2021. There, the jury awarded Touchstream damages of $338.67 million in July 2023; but the case is still awaiting final judgment.
